Hammerhead sharks

We have been learning how to write different types of animal reports.

Hammerhead sharks
A hammerhead shark is a mammal.

A hammerhead shark eats lots and lots of food. They eat fish, squid, octopus, sharks and stingrays. Each day some hammerhead sharks eat up to 34 kilograms a day. That's enough for a dinosaur to eat 12 other dinosaurs.

Some Hammerhead sharks have a rectangular nose, sharp teeth and lots of fins. They are very big. A great hammerhead is the largest of the nine species of this shark. It can grow up to 20 feet.

A hammerhead shark is found in tropical and warm coastal areas. They are found in the ocean far from the sand in deep areas.

There is usually a litter of 12 to 15 pups born except for the great hammerhead shark which gives birth to litters of 20 to 40 pups.

Hammerheads use their wide heads to attack stingrays, pinning the winged fish against the sea floor.

pet day

Pet Day
RING RING. Everybody lined up on the court like soldiers. A teacher said to line up around the rope. Suddenly I saw lambs and sheep go around the rope. Then I saw Jack's baby lamb. I saw calves and goats. It was so cool. Then I saw fish and lizards. Everybody thought the lizard was a snake. Then we went back inside our classroom to see our Vaseline saucers.
Here is my vaseline saucer.
