This is my personal recount about everything I did during our
school ski trip to National Park in September 2018. It was a blast!

Cross Country

Kia ora on Wednesday we did cross country. I came 10th. since I was 11 I had to do 2 laps around heaps of paddocks and steep hills. It was very fun and tiring.  

Different types of measurement

Kia ora Kayne and I were working on a slideshow called Different types of measurement. Miss D said that we had to do a bunch of assignments. I found them funny and exciting, but some of them were a little bit boring.   

American Bison Report

Kia ora this week we have been focusing on Animal Reports. Kayne, Enzo and I are doing ours about American Bison. In this presentation there is the Classification, Prey and Threats, Appearance, Diet, Habitat, Population and much much more.    

Wacky Sentence

Kia Ora for the last couple of weeks we have been learning about Fahrenheit and Celsius. We work with Miss D on Thursdays and Fridays. This is only one of our activity's we're doing. This is called Wacky Sentence. I had to work with my best buddy Sam, Lukas and Antonio. Here is a snippet of our  work.  

Pear Deck

Kia ora

We have been using Pear Deck to help us learn more about sentence structure so that we can get better at noticing where one sentence ends and another one begins. This should also help us get better scores for punctuation. This a screenshot of an activity we did: first we had to highlight the noun and verb parts of the sentences and then we had to decide where the full stops and capital letters should go.
