Student Led Conferences

Kia Ora this week we have been making a slide and filling it with our progress for this year for our Student Led Conferences. Each person in our class will show this slideshow to our parents. We will show our progress for reading, writing and maths. 

Private vs Public Information

Kia Ora,
Today we were learning about Cybersmart. We had to make a DLO which stands for Digital Learning Object to tell the difference between private and public information. I decided to work in a group, In my group there was Reed and Enzo. Here is my work.

Writing to persuade

Kia ora.

We are learning how to use different writing styles to persuade. Mine was about rugby. I did groups
of three, Rhetorical question, personal pronouns and exaggeration/hyperbole.

My speech

Kia Ora, for the last few weeks we have been doing speeches. We did it for the Kaikohe finals. My speech is about why wrestling is fake and that it should real. We had to include rhetorical questions and punctuation. 

Waitangi Experience

Kia ora, on Tuesday and Wednesday we went  to Waitangi. When we got back we had to write about it.  Here is my work. We had to do it in 90 minutes.
