Argument

This term we were doing speeches. Mine was about why dogs are the best pets. First we wrote  arguments then we turned the arguments into speeches. Luke,Willow,Depla were the best so they went to Kaikohe to challenge other people from other schools.

💩.1 Why dogs are the best	💩.2 Have you ever had a pet dog? Would you prefer it more than a pet cat?  Both are furry, have 4 legs, a tail and they are cute  mammals but I think dogs are the best pets. Here are my reasons.
💩.3 Firstly: Dogs are known to improve our health and you can lower your blood pressure by petting your pup.Dogs can make you get fit by running with it and taking it for walks.	💩.4 Secondly: There are hundreds of different breeds of dog;  big dog, tiny dogs and everything in between so no matter what kind of dog you like, you will always find a pets breed that will suit you.So take your pick- Bulldogs, German shepherds, Collies,Golden Retrievers, St Bernards, Greyhounds, Bloodhounds, Chihuahuas, Labradors, Great Danes, Rottweilers, Boxers and Cocker Spaniels. I could go on but I won’t to. I guarantee, somewhere there will be the kind of dog you like.
💩.5 Finally: Dogs are really smart and they are always eager to please so you can train them to do jobs for you. We have Police dogs, dogs for blind people, drug search dogs, dogs who are good at tracking bad guys and dogs who are good at finding lost people. You can train your dog to bring you things like the newspaper, to open the door and (when your mum isn’t looking) to eat your yucky vegetables. You will find this hard to believe but it is true, unlike some people, dogs never get tired of doing their jobs for you.	💩 .6 Conclusion: I am sure you absolutely must agree that dogs are so much better as a pet then cats. If everyone on the planet had a dog for a pet there would be no overweight unfit people in the world. You would have a pet that was perfect for you and no one would be stressed out cause dogs would be helping around the house.
