Black Horror

Kia ora

This week we have been learning how to describe a place better by using ideas from our senses. We had to choose a picture and then describe it.

Black Horror

The black trees are like dark, twisty shadows.
The path smells like a humongous dead possum.
The grass felt as slimy as spit.
I was shivering when the coldness was crawling up my back.
The  birds were whispering to me in the never ending fog.

  1. Super spooky and effective writing, Alex. I really like your first line because it totally suits the picture.
